My goodness when we get here I will be so happy!

I have previously ran this retreat in Tuscany however I have found a purpose built venue which is going to make the week even better; Maison De La Vaure in Chillac, France.

This 16th Century former Cognac Estate provides us with the perfect setting for our Retreat together; amongst spacious grounds facilities include a purpose built yoga /  fitness studio and large heated swimming pool.


There will be a real mix of classes on this Retreat. For me cross training has always been important in terms of optimising my own health and I host this week in particular to share that with you.

In the mornings we will enjoy a more dynamic, vinyasa style of yoga. My fave! If you haven’t taken one of my classes before they are strong but steady, helping you to understand and connect with the movement of the practice. There will also be lots of verbal and hands on assistance for those who like that.

Later in the afternoon we will do a Pilates class together. If you are new to pilates, the practice is fairly different to yoga – it is more of an alignment based exercise class – however it is hugely complimentary to your yoga practice. Expect to feel lengthened and strengthened! I can confidently say you will take away several simple exercises that work wonders on the strength of your core and lower back, great for injury prevention.

There will also be Yoga Nidra & Guided Meditation on offer. Super restorative and relaxing, this class will set you up for the evening. Hopefully leaving you feeling super calm, grounded and totally zen.

If you are new to yoga or pilates please don’t be put off by attending a Retreat – you are always welcome and you will be guided through the weekend at your own pace. If you have a more experienced practice we are here for you to, we have plenty of time together over the course of the retreat and I strive to ensure you leave with a deeper understanding of your body and feeling more connected to your practice.


We will enjoy a nourishing, vibrant, healthy and wholesome menu. The food will all be sourced locally so expect lots of delicious fresh flavours – everything we serve with be plant based, sugar free and organic where possible. We hope the food you enjoy over the week will fuel your activities and inspire you to return home to your own kitchen. We can cater for any dietary requirements as long as we know in advance.

We want you to enjoy your meals, to sit and to celebrate the delicious food and the wonderful company.


Free time is yours to enjoy as you wish. These Retreats are designed to provide you with uplifting exercise sessions but also down time. There is a pool at the property and we will experience wall to wall sunshine – so if you bring a book or two you won’t need to venture far from the lounger!


We just have a few rooms left so please get in touch if you are hoping to join us. Private rooms start at £1400 and shared rooms start at £1200.


The venue is approximitely an hours drive from Bordeaux airport. Those who wish to hire a car then have the luxury of exploring the surrounding area. However if you would rather be collected from the airport I can arrange this for you.
