Escape to Europe
August 2017 – A beautiful short get away. I mean we did go in August so as expected we had gorgeous weather, ate so much amazing fresh food that we actually revisited the same restaurants twice.. credit to their service, which shone even during a power cut mid dinner – that appeared to blow out the whole town! It was an incredibly well needed relaxing break – and despite it being the holiday season it really wasn’t too busy (except for the airport.. give your self plenty of time on that front). Using air b and b we found a few properties that were ideal, welcoming owners, convenient, hassle free and totally within walking distance from anywhere where you would want to go. Next time for sure I will give more time and really explore the islands..
Our first week long Yoga Retreat and we were joined by the most beautiful group of guests. Situated amongst rolling country side there was plenty of opportunity to grab your trainers and appreciate the surroundings. We were also mid Pisa and Florence which meant guests had the chance to explore and appreciate both cities, plus we were only a (2 hour) walk from Lucca – which is the ideal town for a little shopping, an ice-cream, an italian coffee or a late lunch whilst sat in the sun people watching!
We are already booked to take a lot more of you back to this wonderful region in May for a even bigger and better health retreat… That speaks for its self.
